Ski/Snowboard Background:
I grew up skiing the Cascades. I owe everything in skiing to my mom who got me and my brothers out the door in a timely manner. She would start cooking the afternoon before so to make sure we had plenty to eat on our ski days.
Ski/Snowboard Accomplishments:
I am in my eleventh season of ski instructing and have my PSIA level 2.
Coaching/Working with Youth Background:
- Coached and helped run Safe At Home Baseball Camp from ’97 – ‘04
- Began Coaching for Team Summit in 07/08
- Summit Extreme Baseball – Head Juniors Baseball Coach
- If it were up to me I would coach sports all year!
What do you like to do outside of Skiing/Snowboarding?
I have been coaching various sports for as long as I can remember including baseball, basketball and tennis to name a few. I am a sports nut, Go Mets, Ducks, Broncos and Clippers!!
Summers are spent traveling to see family, new places, eating at the BBQ fest, fly fishing and playing golf.
Pets:
None, I am dog sitter because the best thing is giving the pet back to the rightful owner
Something fun that makes you stand out from the rest:
I have a strong passion for sports as well as a passion for youth development. Skills learned in sports can very easily be applied to the game of life.
