TEAM SUMMIT ALPINE RACING
Unique to Team Summit, we offer a four-mountain program, taking advantage of Colorado's best terrain at Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. Copper Mountain and Breckenridge offer us training on World Cup and US Nationals race venues. Keystone offers amazing variety of terrain, and because of their night skiing, Team Summit is able to train in the early evenings. Copper Mountain and A-Basin, also known as "The Legend", offer some of the longest seasons in North America, providing us with venues for late spring and early summer training. The naturally long season, coupled with some of the most consistent snow and weather conditions anywhere in the world, means Team Summit is confident that we are able to provide some of the best training and racing opportunities anywhere in the world.
Our program is staffed with veteran coaches led by Executive Director/Alpine Director Sean Ramsden, Head Ability Coach Doug Elsey and his staff managing the Ability (FIS) athletes and our Post Graduate programs. Team Summit’s J3 program is led by Head Coach Paul Tronnier and his staff. Our Age Class program is managed by Head Coach Jared Hedges and his staff. The Devo & Age Prep programs are run by Jerry Karl along with support from his fun and energetic group of coaches.

At competitions Team Summit athletes have enjoyed unprecedented success. We have had numerous athletes qualify for the US Nationals, Team Summit athlete Katie Hartman qualified for 2007 and 2008 World Junior Championships! We have had large teams qualify for the Junior Olympics every year which included many individual champions and podium appearances! Team Summit has consistently qualified athletes for Age Class and J3 International Children events: Topolino Championships, Italy and, Whistler Cup, Canada.

Team Summit offers an early release program coordinated with the Summit School District. These programs offer comprehensive conditioning for full and part-time athletes. Our dryland training uses two world class recreation centers and extensive biking and hiking trail systems in beautiful Summit County. On snow training utilizes Summit County’s four world class ski resorts. We have an ideal location for training,competition, travel, and best of all, affordable fees.
