Age Prep Alpine Racing

Head Coach: Jerry Karl
This program is the entry level Age Class program. Skill development occurs most easily in younger children. Because of this, our goal is to introduce and teach the fundamentals so that the young athlete develops the right habits and techniques now and can progress through our programs on par with their peers. The Age Prep program adds two days per week of skiing for the Devo participants. Program emphasis includes skill development, miles of structured free skiing in all terrain and conditions, entry-level competitions and TONS OF FUN! The Age Prep group will mingle with Age Class skiers and will participate in Team Summit run Summit Foundation Cup, which will consist of three Saturday races, please see calendar on the right side of this page for dates and further a further description of these races. Entry fees and or lift tickets for the Summit Foundation Cup are included in program fees for Age Prep athletes. Athlete will also compete in select Youth Ski League (YSL), and select Age Class races, which are also listed on the calendar to the right.
